The purpose of the Board Advisory Council is to advise the board in long term development and operations.


David Carlin

David Carlin is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Prograde, a Cincinnati based print management, integrated marketing and fulfillment company. He has over twenty five years of printing and marketing communications experience.

Carla Eng

Carla Eng is President and CEO of Abstract Displays, Inc. Abstract Displays is a premier designer and producer of dimensional solutions for face to face events. She is a seasoned professional with over twenty years experience in the trade show and event marketing industries. In 2009 she was named the SBA Small Business Person of the year for the State of Ohio.

Mark Groteke

Mark Groteke is an entrepreneur and owns Express Transport. He is also the creator of Elena's Blueberry Pie Ice Cream flavor as part of the 2008 Once in a Lifetime Gala and Auction.

Brendan Keefe

Bendan Keefe is an anchor with WCPO Channel 9 television in Cincinnati. He also serves as the emcee of the CSN Once in a Lifetime Gala and Auction.

Florence Murphy

Florence Murphy is with ReachUSA and has advised in the creation of the Kitchen Remodel Raffle competition.

Amanda Orlando

Amanda Orlando is a radio personality and has been active in various cancer causes.

John Perentesis, MD, FAAP

Dr. John Perentesis is the director of the oncology program with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan and pursued pediatric and hematology / oncology training at the University of Minnesota Medical School. After completion of his postdoctoral training, he was a member of the faculty of the University of Minnesota Cancer Center and led the Pediatric Advanced Therapies Program. He has substantial experience in pediatric developmental therapeutics, leading laboratory programs in the development of recombinant therapeutics and pharmacogenetics, and in the development and execution of Phase I & II pediatric anticancer drug clinical research studies. His laboratory has developed novel anticancer drugs and discovered genes important in the growth of normal and malignant cells. He is also member of the Steering Committee for the new national NIH-funded Pediatric Phase I / Pilot Consortium.

Chris Plummer

Chris Plummer is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. Since its creation, he has assisted CSN with advice and assistance.

Allyson Richards

Allyson Richards is with Edys, a division Nestle.

Melissa Saladonis

Melissa Saladonis handles governmental advocacy for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
