csn family support councilOur Family Support Council focuses on The Cure Starts Now mission to provide assistance to families whose children face the difficult diagnosis of pediatric brain cancer. This council’s goal is to provide financial and other forms of assistance to families who struggle with medical costs and the daily needs of caring for a child with brain cancer. Tamara EkisTamara Ekis, of North Huntingdon, PA, is a kindergarten teacher and the mother of three children: Colin, Garrett and Grace. She was thrust into the DIPG community in January of 2007 when her then four-year-old daughter Grace was diagnosed with the deadly disease. Tamara and her husband, Brian, founded the Reflections Of Grace Foundation in memory of their daughter and have dedicated their lives to the fight against DIPG.Emily QuayleEmily Quayle is a loving mother of a child who had DIPG. She and her husband founded the Smiles for Sophie Foundation. |
