csn strategic council

The purpose of the Strategic Advisory Council is to organize, design, and develop fundraising ideas and act as a recommendation voting body to the board. It approves and oversees chapter operations as well as makes bi-annual approval recommendations about grant proposals that have been approved by the Medical Advisory Council.


Brooke Desserich

Brooke Desserich is a mother and one of the directors of The Cure Starts Now and the parent of a DIPG child. She serves as CFO of two local service companies and former project manager of a software company. She is Chair of the CSN Strategic Council and Parent Networking.

John Agin

John Agin is a loving father of a child battling DIPG.

Fatema Baumgardner

Fatema Baumgardner is a mother and volunteer with several osteopathic medicine groups within the city of Columbus. She is a Doctors Hospital Development Board Member and former owner of a home nursing care company. She is in charge of CSN Source Funding Operations.

Anne Cinelli

Anne Cinelli is a loving mother of a child who had DIPG and has a personal interest in the efforts of glioma research.

Lesley Davis

Lesley Davis has a masters in montessori education. During her nine years as an elementary school teacher she has served on the Language Arts and Professional Development committees.

Channon House-Longman

Channon House-Longman is a mother and a Program Director for a Fortune 35 company. She is active in her local school district as well as a volunteer for local community organizations. Channon is the Special Events Coordinator for the Once in a Lifetime Gala.

Jason Knepp

Jason Knepp is a dedicated father and a five-year elementary teacher. He is very active in professional programs within the school district he teaches in.

Suzann Knepp

Suzann Knepp is a dedicated mother and senior researcher with a fortune 500 company with a degree in electronic media. Her background also includes vice president for a service organization in 2000-2001.

Michael Longman

Michael Longman is a devoted father. He is a former FDA chemist now working for one of the largest generic pharmaceutical companies in the field of information technology.

Iris Love

Iris Love is a dedicated mother and co-owner of a stationary business, Sisters Ink. Previously, she was an events coordinator and facilitator to a nationally recognized reading mentor program. She is active in several non-profit activities including another cancer charity.

Jason Montgomery

Jason Montgomery is a dedicated father and an information systems engineer for a large financial planning company. He is actively involved in organizations pioneering cancer research as a result of family member experiences.

Martha Montgomery

Martha Montgomery is a dedicated mother and co-owner of a stationary business, SistersInk. She also owns a corporate and professional research firm providing executive search consulting services. She is in charge of CSN New Development Partnerships.

Emily Quayle

Emily Quayle is a loving mother of a child who had DIPG. She and her husband founded the Smiles for Sophie Foundation.

Liz Wilson

Liz Wilson is a dedicated mother and a specialist at an area company. She has been a dedicated supporter of CSN since its creation and has assisted most recently with the Once in a Lifetime Gala and Auction.
