Ayden was diagnosed November 14, 2021. He was starting his freshman year in high school. He was a black belt in taekwondo, and a very active player on his soccer team at school and in the community. Headaches started coming pretty frequent after six weeks of testing and trying to eliminate the problem a MRI was requested which is when we found the tumor, which was considered DMG. 

Right away, we started radiation. We found a clinical trial at Benoff children’s Hospital in San Francisco, ONC206 . After four months the tumor had spread so we were forced to discontinue the treatments. We proceeded to get into City of Hope in Duarte, California.  Car T cell trial was our only hope as time wasn’t on our side. He got admitted on his 15th bday. As the tumor grew it robbed Ayden from his eyesight, his appetite, his physical ability, and eventually his speech. He always smiled and laughed and never complained and was always worried about everyone else around him. 

Ayden fought for 362 days when he took his last breath on November 11 of 2022.He was a true warrior & our hero. My son taught me how to truly LIVE!!
