Ella was a spunky 7 year old who was wise beyond her years. Ella loved her family, friends, reading, fishing, dancing and singing. She wanted to be a teacher when she grew up, she was our teacher of love and life then and always. Forever in our hearts, forever providing hope. 

"3 weeks prior to Ella's death was Halloween, she could no longer walk and she tired easily, but she still wanted to go trick or treating. After an hour we asked her if she wanted to go home and rest and she exclaimed, "I am not a quitter!". We have held those words as our family motto since that day and that is why we support The Cure Starts Now, because we too are not quitters! There have been so many advances in the 14 years since Ella passed, but we are not there yet. We need a cure!" - The Hauschildt Family
