Madelyn Grace Shoales (April 16, 2001 - January 20, 2018) was a junior at Georgetown High School when her life was tragically shortened after a courageous year-long battle with brain cancer.  Madelyn was in her third year as a student athletic trainer, an activity she dearly loved.  She was a straight-A honor student and member of the National Honor Society with aspirations of becoming a physical therapist.  She also loved animals from an early age and volunteered at The Williamson County Animal Shelter.  The courage, dignity and grace she displayed during the last year of her life will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her.  She truly was the ultimate hero.
