I am 28 years old and have been battling DIPG since 2016.  After undergoing over a year of chemotherapy and six weeks of proton radiation, imaging had shown significant shrinking and current stabilization now of 2 years. In the depths of my treatment, I completed degrees in Psychology and Sociology, making Dean's List and Honor Society, an accomplishment I am extremely proud of.  I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling and working in a homeless shelter.  I take pride in doing what I can to continue to serve my purpose in life and serve those in need while regaining my own strength and stability.  I am an advocate, a warrior and a survivor.
