Sammy was diagnosed one day before she turned 8, while on a birthday trip to Disneyland. She has underdone brain resection surgery in LA, moved to Seattle for 2 months to receive proton radiation therapy and now undergoing chemotherapy. She is halfway done with treatment and hopes to go back to the things she loves the most; swimming, playing with her cousins and friends. Her strength is what carries us through this difficult journey.
