The Cure Starts Now awards $100,000 research grant to Dana Farber

The Cure Starts Now Foundation, along with the DIPG Collaborative, awarded another pediatric brain cancer research grant to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. The Massachusetts Chapter of The Cure Starts Now Foundation surprised Dr. Beroukhim with the grant for $100,000 for his "characterizing resistance mechanisms to radiation therapy in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma" study. To date, The Cure Starts Now Foundation has raised over $6.7 million in groundbreaking pediatric brain cancer research. The Cure Starts Now Foundation is focused on finding the homerun cure for all cancers.
