Ashley Flannery, Family Support Coordinator

What brought you to CSN?
When my son William became a Brain Cancer Warrior through The Cure Starts Now, I instantly felt connected to this cause. I was searching for a way to honor his courageous battle while also fighting for better outcomes for other families. What I found at CSN was so much more than I expected, and I am incredibly grateful to be part of a mission dedicated to finding the homerun cure.

What I do at CSN
I serve as the Family Support Coordinator at The Cure Starts Now. In this role, I have the honor of connecting with individuals and families impacted by brain cancer, offering support, guidance, and connection throughout their journey. I work to ensure families feel supported while helping them access resources and build meaningful connections within the community. My hope is that every family I connect with feels a sense of comfort, strength, and the reminder that they are not alone.

What I like most about my job
What I love most about my role is the opportunity to be part of such a dedicated and passionate team at The Cure Starts Now. Knowing that this work is helping move us closer to better outcomes for children and families makes it deeply meaningful to me.

What moment have you cherished most at CSN?
One of my most memorable moments at The Cure Starts Now was attending the Once in a Lifetime Gala with my husband. We were absolutely blown away. From the energy in the room to the powerful stories shared, it was such a special night. Being surrounded by so many people who care so deeply about this mission made it both incredibly meaningful and a lot of fun.

Many people would be surprised if they knew I…
Most people would be surprised to learn that I share an antique booth with my best friend. It’s something we started for fun and has turned into a creative outlet we both love.
